Hotel Exchange
Established 33 years ago, Trade To Travel (TTT) was the world's first boutique hotel exchange.
For over 3 decades, owners and managers of 4 and 5 Star hotels have use our unparalleled exchange to trade nights and weeks in their properties for stays in luxury accommodations worldwide. Hotels and Hoteliers also profit from members dining in their restaurants, socializing in their bars and lounges, using spa services, amenities, activities, tipping staff, etc.
Each time hotels accommodate members on a trade basis using points, they receive points equal to the rack rate for the accommodations and amenities provided. TTT points can be used by hotel proprietors, general managers, and staff to enjoy the world's most luxurious collection of boutique hotels and inns, B&Bs, resorts, spas, villas, vacation homes, castles, chalets, chateaux, penthouses, private islands, boats, yachts and megayachts.
The visionary owner/proprietor of magnificent Lumley Castle in England, has been a member since 1992. He says, "It is important for owners of luxury properties to network. For example, when members of Trade to Travel visit Lumley Castle, I give them the King James Suite whenever possible because I will receive the same preferential treatment when I visit other properties within the network."
Members host their fellow members as frequently or infrequently as they wish and may always accept or decline all inquiries received from members of TTT. Points can also be used by proprietors, general managers, and hotel staff as incentives, rewards, and gifts for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

The 5-Star Park Hotel Kenmare was voted "The Best Hotel in Ireland" and "The #2 Spa in Europe" by Conde Nast and Travel & Leisure. Sámas is a Gaelic word meaning "indulgence of the senses" and their Sámas is Ireland's first true luxury destination spa. It features a fusion of Eastern and Western holistic philosophies with uniquely Irish hospitality. The Sámas Experience is comprised of three elements: Thermal Suite, Holistic Treatment of Choice and Pure Relaxation which lasts for three or more hours. There are six treatment rooms and couples' suites include a private spa pool and garden. The proprietor of The Park Hotel Kenmare, Francis Brennan, has been a member of TTT for 20 years.
The Marcliffe Hotel & Spa in Aberdeen, Scotland is another 5-Star property whose owner, Stewart Spence, has been a member for 20 years. The wine cellar boasts over 400 choice wines and the distinctive Drawing Room Bar is stocked with no less than 150 exquisite malt whiskies and a scintillating selection of Cognac, Armagnacs and rare European brandies. Superb golf can be enjoyed at the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club (established 1780, the sixth oldest registered club in the world), Cruden Bay, Trump International, and Murcar.
In the heart of Paris, the Hotel St. Paul has been welcoming members of TTT since 1995. Ideally located in the Latin Quarter between Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Sorbonne, Notre Dame, and the Luxembourg Gardens, this XVIIth century residence has been entirely renovated and is owned by Marianne Oberlin who is the 4th generation of the same family of hoteliers who have maintained the high standards of this bijou dwelling. An excellent breakfast is served in the striking vaulted cellar and the comfortable sitting room invites you to linger, but "la vie parisienne" calls. Off you go!
Special is Our Specialty!
These visionary hoteliers recognized the brilliance of the TTT concept as soon as they heard of it. All these years later, people are still struck by what a great idea it is. For example, Virgin Airlines' Voyeur magazine said, "Trade To Travel is a trend that will change the way people travel. Swaps with TTT are on everyone's wish list."
The Editor of Elite Traveler magazine said, "Trade to Travel is the biggest news in the luxury travel industry since the advent of destination clubs." But TTT wasn't born after destination clubs. It was born before them. The founder of the first destination club, Private Retreats, partnered with TTT so that members of Private Retreats could enjoy TTT properties and vice versa. Today we partner with destination clubs and private residence clubs in over 70 countries.
