- Who We Are
- How We Work
Virgin Airlines' Voyeur magazine said, "Trade to Travel (TTT) is a trend that will change the way people travel. Swaps with TTT are on everyone's wish list." We are the world's most luxurious collection of vacation homes and villas, boutique hotels, resorts, spas, castles, chateaux, penthouses, private islands, boats, yachts and megayachts available for exchange.
The Editor of Elite Traveler magazine said, "Trade to Travel is the biggest news in the luxury travel industry since the advent of destination clubs." But TTT wasn't born after destination clubs. It was born before them. The founder of the first destination club, Private Retreats, partnered with TTT over 20 years ago so members of Private Retreats could enjoy TTT properties and vice versa. Today we partner with destination clubs and private residence clubs around the globe.
In addition to trading accommodations using our points exchange, we also offer a dazzling array of luxury vacation rental properties at the guaranteed lowest rates. For decades, we've arranged accommodations for celebrities like Tommy Lee Jones and Robert Downey Jr. We would love to show you the same star treatment!
Established in 1991 (in the same week the World Wide Web became publicly available), Trade to Travel was the first vacation home exchange as well as the first luxury home exchange, boutique hotel exchange, and non-reciprocal exchange for owners of luxury properties (also known as points exchange). We are the ONLY exchange whose members are able to enjoy private islands and megayachts on a trade basis.
Owners of many of the world's most outstanding hotels have been members for decades. The visionary owner/proprietor of Lumley Castle in England has been a member since 1992. Before most people ever heard of the internet, and before we did any advertising, he somehow heard about TTT through the grapevine when word-of-mouth crossed the Atlantic and he called to say, "I hear you ladies have a great idea."
Bon Vivant Villa, a nine-bedroom estate on Barbados with a staff of 14, including four (yes, FOUR) world-class chefs. Visited by the Queen of England and hailed by the London Times as one of the world's most gracious getaways for the well-heeled. Bon Vivant's owner has been a member of TTT for 18 years.
The Park Hotel Kenmare, a magnificent manor house named the "Best Hotel in Ireland" by Conde Nast and Travel & Leisure. Also named the #2 Spa in Europe. Its proprietor has been a member of TTT for 22 years.
Cayo Espanto, a private island off the coast of Belize frequented by the likes of George Clooney and Tiger Woods. Our members have been enjoying it at 90% savings since 2003.
The Presidential Yacht, USS Sequoia, was used by 10 United States presidents during their terms in office. Today it is privately owned and has been available to members of TTT for over a decade. Cruise the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay aboard this 104-foot Trumpy yacht, dine in the salon where FDR and Churchill planned D-Day, and stroll the top deck where Nixon and Brezhnev negotiated the first arms-control treaty. Create your own history aboard the Sequoia by hosting up to 50 guests for a reception, business event or family gathering.
Trade to Travel opens thousands of doors for you. The owner of "Casa Suenos" in Manzanillo, Mexico has enjoyed over 90 of his fellow members' properties. We invite you to try to surpass his record!
