Just outside the historic town of Truckee, in North Lake Tahoe, surrounded by eighteen holes of perfection (courtesy of Jack Nicklaus) and only a short drive to the famous slopes at Northstar, our cabin at Old Greenwood is complete with elegant furnishings that enhance its rustic Tahoe mountain architecture. There are three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, plus a private hot tub and barbecue on the deck overlooking the golf course, a billiard room, jetted spa tub, plasma and LCD televisions, gas fireplace, stainless steel commercial grade appliances in the gourmet kitchen, wi-fi internet, and slate and hickory flooring. Our vacation guests have access to the Pavilion which is the place for morning laps in the outdoor pool, a game of tennis (in summer), an afternoon of pampering at the spa or Sunday brunch with family and friends. The kids will love the outdoor swimming pool complete with a slide, while Mom and Dad soak in luxurious hot tubs. The historic town of Truckee is only a few minutes away from Old Greenwood and provides sight seeing adventures for all. Truckee is known for its cute boutiques, wild west architecture and great food. The shores of Lake Tahoe are only a 25 minute drive from Old Greenwood. Admire the incredible scenery during the day topped off with the exciting nightlife that Nevada is known for in the evening. In the Winter, guests have access to the private Alpine Club in Northstar Village which has a lounge, fireplaces, TVs, bar and ski concierge, and the private Schaffers Camp restaurant at the top of Northstar.
